• Due to the eolic origin of the deposit, the largest in Europe, the industrial treatment is carried out on a very homogeneous raw product which enhances the stability of the analytical results measured at the end of the production process. That way we obtain a product of high quality, very stable, with very high alumina and potassium contents, in compliance with the specifications required for any targeted applications.
  The application fields can be as diverse as the glass industry, both hollow and float glass along with fibre glass.

  • Potassium Feldspar {yootooltip title=[FK-D] sticky=[1]} The reference of potassium feldspar FK-D is obtained from feldspar sand by means of a flotation process and a drying. It provides a very stable chemical composition and grain size distribution.

  The market of the ceramic industry is essential, from the fabrication of frits and enamels, up to its introduction in the ceramic pastes for the sanitary ware and porcelains.

   

  • Micronized Potassium Feldspars {yootooltip title=[FK-100] sticky=[1]} The reference of potassium feldspar FK-100 is obtained from feldspar sand by means of a flotation process, followed by a drying and a milling treatment. • The great experience of INCUSA made possible the development of a large range of silica sands resulting from an industrial process that enables us to obtain different chemical compositions and grain size distribution fully controlled, to comply with all the requirements of each of its customers.

  The high content in Silica (SiO₂) permits us to consider INCUSA as the largest supplier to the Spanish glass industry.

  • Silica Sand {yootooltip title=[AS-V] sticky=[1]}The sand AS-V is obtained after classification, and then after a feldspar separation process. Its grain size distribution is a balanced distribution of coarse and fine grains which is particulary appropriate for the hollow glass production.

  The sphericity of their grains, the absence of heavy minerals, the fine grain size cuts together with their refractory properties, make these silica sands particularly well adapted to the production of foundry casts.

  At last, its sphericity and grain size distribution give them a special place in the construction of sports grounds , (golf course, football pitch, horse race course, beach-volley…) since its draining properties, a fundamental quality in this kind of grounds, are unrivalled.

• The constructión market (backfill sands or sands for concrete) is, for INCUSA, one of the most sand consuming market.

  • Feldspatic Sand {yootooltip title=[AFC] sticky=[1]} The reference  AF-C is a natural sand of eolic origin obtained after a classification and washing process in our plant situated in Carrascal del Río (Segovia-Spain). Used for the production of ceramic pastes and concretes.

  After an adequate physicochemical treatment, these feldspatic sands provide at the same time a very interesting silica content (SiO2 > 89%) and a high percentage in alumina (Al2O3>6%), which gives them ideal characteristics for the production of ceramic pastes.

  • Feldspatic Sand {yootooltip title=[AFF] sticky=[1]} The reference AF-F is is a natural sand of eolic origin obtained after a classification, washing and attrition process, then heavy minerals are eliniminated in a second step. Used for the production of ceramic pastes, electrical insulators, insulation fibres, rock wool...
